Slowtravel: travel differently by taking the time to meet with Self and others
La Magnanerie is located in Dions, a small, picturesque and authentic village of 600 inhabitants, halfway between Nîmes and Uzès.
Dions is a true haven of peace at the entrance to the Gorges du Gardon, a listed natural site and Biosphere reserve.
The village is crossed by the Voie Régordane - GR 700, an old trade route from the Middle Ages, linking Puy-en-Velay to Saint-Gilles.
For nature lovers, many hiking and mountain biking trails invite you to discover the garrigue and the surrounding vineyards.
Between the Cévennes and the Camargue, close to the Pont du Gard or the Bambouseraie d'Anduze, the Gard is a department which presents an exceptional historical and cultural richness, a natural beauty which is revealed over the seasons.
